login authorization code delivery method

I can't log onto Firefox without the authorization code. The code is sent via email. Can't check email for code until I'm logged on Firefox. Catch 22 . It would be nice if the code was sent via text, however I haven't found any place to make that happen 

 I currently get the email on my desktop.

Can you read the code when the email arrives on your desktop and enter it into Firefox for Android?
