Moving from Thunderbird apt 91 to Thunderbird snap 102 in Ubuntu

more options

Hi

I am running Thunderbird 91 in Ubuntu 22.04. I have installed Thunderbird 102 using snap, launched it, and I was expecting it to pick my configurations in my $HOME/.thunderbird profile. It didn't, it started empty. How do I get Thunderbird 102 (snap) to pick my e-mails from the default Ubuntu Thunderbird?

Thanks

Paulo

Ver 102 has ability to import profiles. Try Tools>Import and one of the options is to import another TB profile.

Thanks, I found it. I had to copy the profile out of the .thunderbird folder - the importer could not see hidden files. I am getting some errors importing it, it fails at 25 %. I will try to find out more exactly what the problem is. Paulo
