My setup:

Firefox Version 116.0.2 (64-bit) Firefox for Manjaro Linux

Whenever a tab is playing sound, there's an icon on the taskbar icon that disables or re-enables audio in Firefox. Is there a way to deactivate/remove that button in the "about:config"-menu?

For KDE Plasma, go into Task Manager Settings and disable "Mark applications that play audio".
