This may be a feature request, or something I am missing in the current TB128.2

Whenever I search, I always prefer the "Show results as a list," presentation but the view shown is always the one with the stats and I have to then click "show results as a list." Is there a way to have that screen come up initially so I don't always have to request it?

This has been requested for at least 14 years. There is a workaround in the final comment:

Thank you. Yeah that is a pill that such a simple request has never been addressed, but from what I read in the string of comments, apparently there will be a new search next year, and maybe ... just maybe.

I tried the config editor solution, namely: Go to Settings -> Config Editor -> set gloda.list.immediate to 2. Unfortunately that must have been for an older TBird as I could not find a gloda.list.immediate line. And I am not familiar with auto hot key, so I guess I will just wait. I do keep reading about Better Bird and may try it, but in general I'm quite satisfied with TBird.
