Zone Alarm Firewall Interferes with Firefox Page Loading

more options

I started having problems with Firefox not loading web pages saying, 'Firefox cannot find the server at .com Clicking 'Try Again' would get it to load. I did all the troubleshooting steps recommended by Mozilla and Microsoft, to include scanning for malware. I also deleted Firefox from trusted programs within ZoneAlarm and readded it, giving it trusted access to all zones.

If you have already tried all the ZA information in Firefox support, you might want to try the ZoneAlarm support forum and see what they have to say. http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs

IMO, most of the "helpers" who do Firefox support probably dumped ZoneAlarm years ago because of the problems it has caused in Firefox over the years. I can't help you myself, I use a Linux IP tables hardware firewall for my small LAN.
