Hey there. I recently got my computer fixed from bad sectors on my old hard drive. I have a new hard drive now, and I want all my bookmarks/passwords back from my Firefox on the old hard drive.

I can't open the old Firefox to export the bookmarks as a HTML, is there something I can copy/paste over into the new Firefox program files or something? I have at least 100 bookmarks in the old one and most are important.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks, Dylan.

Firefox doesn't store its profile data in the Firefox program folder, so be sure to look in the correct location.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Backing_up_and_restoring_bookmarks_-_Firefox

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

"Application Data" in is a hidden folder
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Show_hidden_files_and_folders

Go to: Control Panel > Folder Options > "View" tab > under "Hidden files and folders", select "Show hidden files and folders"
You may want to un-check the box "Hide extensions for known file types" to see the file extensions of all files

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
