Win 7 Pro 32 bit: How do I import Favorites from Internet Explorer into Firefox with the SAME folder and subfolder levels that I already have?

more options

How do I import my Internet Explorer (IE) favorites with the SAME folders and subfolders that I have already set up in IE?

I could only find a forum message that addressed Windows XP and you only create a folder called "From Internet Explorer".

Then, I would have to (try to) move all those folders into their new places in Firefox.

In your forum, you do not categorize all the messages.

How will find my answer to this question?

Doing it this way should maintain your folder structure as it exists in IE.

In IE:
File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file
