I often read news. I'm short-sighted. The background is white and it's pretty bright. It makes my eyes very uncomfortable. I turn down the brightness of the computer, but it can't help. How do I change the white into the black?

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.
