I have been in contact with Norton and they say that Firefox 4.0 is in Beta format. They will not do a patch until Firefox 4.0 is ready. Whe will Firefox be ready? I need my Norton Toolbar.

Firefox 4 is not in beta, it was released on 22nd March. Whoever told you that at Norton is very ill-informed.

It is down to Symantec to update their add-ons. They have released an update for Norton 360 to make it compatible with Firefox 4, for details see http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US

I do not know about other Norton products, but if you run Norton LiveUpdate it should inform you if there are updates available.

Tony, I got that information from the Norton Community itself. All I want is Norton Toolbar. I have Norton anti virus already and Live Update runs accordingly.

Thanks for your help. I will pass on to Norton what you just told me.

Thanks again,
