Ever time I upgrade firefox runs worse. Non responding, slow down loads. How can I save book marks, wipe out current version, start over with older version, am running 4 on vista dual processer?

Lap top-Lenovo PC, Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Centrino Duo 1.5 GHz, 2.0 GB Ram, 32 bit. Rarely had problems with older versions. Since upgrading 3.6 plus problems down loading speed, non responding, locking up totally-task manager to shut down, some times had to disconnect power, reboot system up. Newest 4.0 is terrible, have been waiting on down load You Tube now for ten minutes. Running wireless, 4 to 5 bar strength. This really stinks from such a good product.

To me, this sounds like a corrupt profile, or possibly trouble with extensions. I would try [creating a new profile] to see how snappy the browser feels. If it works well, you can move across your bookmarks, saved passwords, etc. to the new profile.
