In Firefox 4 for Windows OS, the "Organize Bookmarks" is now called "Show All Bookmaks". All the options are still there.

I think it's the same for Ubuntu.

thanks for the fast answer Silkphoenix - Its the new Ubuntu 11.04 to blame. The menu bar for the active window now always appears at the top of the screen - not the window. So this means that opening bookmarks/Show all Bookmarks opens a new window (like Windoze), but instead of having the Organize/Views/Import etc in this window (as always used to occur), these options now appear in the menu bar at the top of the Ubuntu screen - very confusing.

I have been using Ubuntu 10.10, which was excellent, and just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.0, and IMO its rubbish. There is a new applications selection bar, which is frankly confusing, and also the confusion with the browser, as above. I have only been playing for a couple of hours, but I'm not impressed (but its still 10000% better than any version of Windoze)

Hi, I have same problem in my Ubuntu 11.04.

I've try to access the organize bookmark menu from CTRL + SHIFT B but there is no pop up menu shown.

From menu "Show All Bookmaks" the Organize Bookmark button is not shown.

Is there any body can solve this problem?

I hope Mozilla's Team can solve this issue ASAP.

chi3m -- There's no more 'Organize Bookmark" button anymore. Once you click on "Show All Bookmarks", all your bookmarks will be there with all the options on the top, e.g. Import/Export, etc.

Please read "kwardill" post since he is also using Ubuntu. If this does not solve your problem, maybe some other users who are using Ubuntu can.

After clicking on 'bookmarks' at the menu bar, clicking on 'show all bookmarks' will cause an unmaximized dialog box to appear, with 'library' on the title bar to the right of the close etc buttons. If you hover your mouse cursor over the word 'library', it should turn into the menu bar, with 'organize', 'views', and 'import and backup'. If this does not appear, maximize the window and the mouse hover may then reveal the menus.

Thanks Bill for your excellent tip. Coming to Ubuntu from Windows. Was scratching my head on how to import my saved bookmarks until I came across your tip.

Thanks a bill (billion)!!!  :)
