If you access your email through your browser, it should be the same. If you usually use a desktop program such as Outlook or Thunderbird, then it's trickier. You should check with your service provider on whether webmail is an option, or get the settings for checking mail from outside their network.

One thing that might be useful in using a strange computer is to carry Firefox with you on a USB flash drive. This site can help:

If it's a public computer, beware of security threats (e.g., keyloggers capturing your passwords).
