Firefox 4.o no longer supports the add-on for DigitalPersona, Inc. and their HP SimplePass Identity Protection software. When will that add-on be available?

I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 and my previously working application for fingerprint ID is not recognized. I tried updating the add-on, but it is not available at all on the new Firefox edition. When will this add-on become available again? This is rendering my ID protection software useless.

App is called HP SimplePass Identity Protection Company is DigitalPersona, Inc.

DigitalPersona no longer makes the SimplePass software for consumer use. However, a new company, EgisTec, makes a supported version. You can get the new version of HP SimplePass here: http://support.mozilla.com/ta-LK/questions/814397 I can confirm, it works great with Firefox 4.0! In order to use it, you'll have to uninstall the old SimplePass, restart, then install this. Enjoy.
