For instance, I have numerous bookmarks for espn.com, but when I go to type in espn.com, it will autocomplete the url to take me to a specific article when all I want to do is go straight to espn.com.

I prefer it to suggest bookmarks and history in the drop down menu, but not to autocomplete the actual url. Can I fix this somehow?

Firefox elect an item from the drop down list if you use a cursor key (cursor Right).
