Save Multiple Tabs on Closing, Reopen Multiple Tabs when Restart
Since most recent update, I can no longer save multiple tabs when closing Firefox. Please restore this ability so that when Firefox is reopened, the same tabs as the most-recently closed Firefox window reappear!! THANK YOU!
Chosen solution
Firefox now always stores the old session which you can access by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session".
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
- Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
- Go to the General panel
- Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Excellent! I KNEW Firefox had to have hidden it somewhere, as all previous features are in there someplace, if you search far enough for 'em. I never noticed the drop arrow under General - When Firefox Starts....Duh as we old farts say; D'OH! as the kids say. THANKS!
Selecting "Show my windows and tabs from last time" doesn't work for me ...
Update - it works OK now: I discovered there was another instance of Firefox running in the background which appears to prevent the previous tabs from re-opening.
