Exporting past search entries

Let's say you frequently visit a webpage, such as an online dictionary. You type the unknown word in a textbox, get the translation, and forget it immediately :-)

After a few days you decide to create a list from the unknown words you've searched recently. You go to that webpage, and click the 'suggestions' (previous search queries) one by one in the dropdown list.

Now, is there a way to do this less painful? Like a tool, addon, whatever to export past search entries from a particular text field. It would really be helpful.
