Suddenly I can't access the normal version of Facebook. Nothing looks right. I can't get messages or ... function. Why did this happen and how can I fix it?

Last night I logged out of FB and when I logged back in, Icould no longer see the normal page. I changed my Foxfire theme, and the page got a bit better. But still not useable. The text is all wrong sized, some bold, some not complete. Buffering never completes. I can't send messages, can't click on anything with results. My games are gone, my lists are gone. All that remains is my profile photos and a weird semblance of the top portion of my normal newsfeed page. I can't access the FB Help link. Nothing happens. Please see if you can help me.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. To be honest, dealing with the safe mode stuff is a bit out of my comfort zone. But I suppose the worst I can do is ... better not think about that. LOL. Thanks again.
