How can I set FF mobile on Android tablet so that web sites don't assume a mobile device? Facebook on Firefox Mobile for example, brings up the sucky mobile version of FB.

If you want to appear to be a desktop browser install the Phony extension. Open the preferences and set the user agent to Desktop Firefox

You should be able to find the extension in the extension manager search. Open Firefox, press the menu button, select Add-Ons scroll down to the 'Get addons' search bar and search for 'Quit' and install.
