What versions of Firefox are actively supported?

Hello, I am looking for confirmation of a wikipedia article on Firefox ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Firefox ) stating support for only version 3.6 and 6.0+ and I just wanted to know if this was factual or not? I can't seem to find any official statement on the Mozilla or Firefox sites. More out of curiosity than anything else.

Thank you!

The only currently supported and updated versions of Firefox are 3.6.22 and 6.0.2.

Scheduled for release tomorrow, 27 Sep 2011, are Firefox 3.6.23 and Firefox 7.0. Updates in those new version will not be back-ported into the prior versions and the new versions will be the only supported and updated versions.
