When the firefox browser loads the scroll bar at the right and the scroll bar at the bottom are missing whereas Google Chrome, and Internet explorer work just fine. I'm using an Acer Aspire Netbook. Firefox used to work with scroll bars

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

Try to delete the file localstore.rdf in the Firefox Profile Folder while Firefox is closed.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
