after installing Firefox 8 there are two minor annoyances. One, a Yahoo! logo appears at the top right, laying under where I have just added an Accuweather monitor strip and therefore obscuring the view. This makes it hard to read the weather information so I would like to remove the Yahoo! loge. How can I do this?

Second, I am now unable to use Freecorder. I remember when installing Firefox 8 there was a statement during the instal that Freecorder would be added when available. What does this mean? Why was Freecorder usable in the older version of Firefox but not the newer one? Is there a way to work around this?
