Chosen solution

Yes, Firefox for mobile will be (hopefully) supporting Flash with the release of version 13. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/13.0a2/auroranotes/

This articles describes the workaround using the "phony" add-on: Firefox for mobile doesn't support Flash | Troubleshooting | Firefox Help.

As the title implies, Firefox mobile doesn't run Flash itself. I don't think you can get other sites' content to play in the YouTube app.

Thanks for the help! :) Maybe some day firefox will support flash for the mobile browser or HTML5 will have replaced it sooner.
