Open New Tab Question

Recently when I click the Open New Tab button the page has some of my Bookmarked sites shown, nothing but a blank rectangle and the name of the link.

Not sure why this started happening or how to fix it

I looked at the link in the previous reply but this isn't my issue. Previously when I clicked the Open New Tab button I had a blank page that would then allow me to type a web address.

I can still type in the web site I want to go to but prior to that my New Tab shows all of my bookmarks, when I open a new page I'd rather have a blank page until I type the address I want to go to.

I hope this makes this clearer

Thank You
