When logged in to badoo, any click with mouse opens the link immediately in the current tab. (even the right click)

Middle click behaves like left click, and don't open new tab. Right click pops up the context menu, but opens the link in the same time. Ctrl+Left click behaves the same, like simple Left click.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

As far as I can tell this is intentional scripting on the site. If you use adblock to block their "base-lite.js" script you'll see it goes away, but it probably also breaks the site in other ways. It is probably possible to re-claim control with a greasemonkey script or similar.

I'm sad to see that firefox allows sites to hijack mouse button functions like this still to this day.

Now it works for me too! It would be nice, to not allow scripts to change mouse button functions.
