Hi Barney4

thank you
When I go to History, I get a list of recently used sites. I don't get any option to delete anything. I need to be able to scroll down the list of sites, and have the option to delete one at a time those I want to remove.
In History select Show All History to open the Library window and then double-click a day and with right-click on a site select "Forget About This Site".
thanks again
Sorry but when I go History - and click on Show all History, all I get is the option of clicking Today, Yesterday, or last 7 days.
Correct, double-click on Today to expand and see the web sites then right-click on a site etc.....
That worked. The only thing is that it only offers the last 60 items and no father back. What have I missed this time? Thanks for helping!
You can toggle the History sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebars > History" or Ctrl+H
You can click the View button to select another sorting order like last visited.
You can press the Delete key to remove the currently highlighted history item.
In the sidebar you need to click to the left you the website icon (favicon) to prevent Firefox from opening the link.
If you only see a limited number of history items then that means that older history has been deleted.

Doing that I only get history for the last 7 days. I was intending to go back months, but if Firefox continually deletes the items on the list that are more than a week old, then that is okay. It is difficult to find out if it does that or not.
