Although I cleared all history, cookies, etc., web addresses still show up in my browser address field when I type letters corresponding to the first few letters in the web address. i want to clear the browser memory as well.

click on Firefox Buttom and select Options click again in Options and you get the Options pop up window go to Privacy panel at the bottom you'll see Location Bar when using the location bar, suggest: Choose Nothing
