I run norton 360 for my protection program & use your mozilla browser. Recently, I keep getting pop ups after I open the browser & I exit out of them, then I routinely clear history & tracking cookies, etc... I ran updated full scan, but keep getting these filthy pop up adds for pornography sites, which we DO NOT visit here. It is only me & my young daughter here & she has her own laptop & does NOT use the desktop. HOW do I stop this filth? Thank you very much!

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
