well i have a problem with adobe flash player which had stopped working (i can`t watch videoes on youtube). i learned that i can solve this problem by clicking add-ons manager to check the programme. but whenever i try to open add-ons it start loading then i receive the message firefox has stopped working and it has to close. i close it and again clicking add-ons (on options/ general/ manage add ons) the same thing happened over and over.

hello, first of all please try to Update Firefox to the latest release (firefox 18.0.1) - you're using a very old and insecure version at the moment.

if this didn't fix the issue already, then maybe the files in your profile folder that store the information about your extensions might have become corrupted. please go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile - show folder... then windows explorer should open up your profile folder. in there look for the files named extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite, extensions.sqlite-journal (and in some cases also extensions.txt, extensions.rdf). delete or rename those files and quit firefox, they will be regenerated the next time you launch firefox.

hello, the official download-link for flash is https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

what exactly is happening when you're trying to access it? you might try a full scan of your system with different other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, microsoft safety scanner & kaspersky security scan...
