I am taking an online training class for my company and the videos will not play unless I use an old version of Firefox 1.0-1.5 OR Mozilla 1.7-1.8.

How can I download an older version of Firefox OR Mozilla for these training purposes.

Seriously? Firefox 1.5? That is like 6-7 years old and most likely wont even run on Windows vista or newer. Plus it had literally thousands of known security holes now and is simply horrible. Talk to your company about updating, try a new browser (sometimes they lie, it may work with a new version of Firefox) or use another browser to do the videos if they support something modern, but Firefox 1.5 is not smart.

Please, my husband needs to record information in Mumms and the new upgrade of Fire Fox won't let him. Instead of telling us to do something different, please give us a link to go to the older version. If we try to go to a website on our own we get bad stuff added in like Babylon and many others. We can't control our employers. It will take them time to catch up with you. Please help us do our job. Please help us with something to go back to the previous version on your website - a safe website.

So, which version of Firefox do you need?

Aren't the portable Firefox ESR versions suitable?

It is not safe to install an older version as the main and only browser just because you need it for some purpose.
A portable Firefox version can be easily installed alongside of the current release and doesn't interfere.

Seriously?? This thread is about users wanting to install an older version of Firefox, and you link to an external website for Firefox 22.0 Beta 3. What are you thinking?

to moderator, please take the time to read everything before censoring ! The link list FF versions from 1.0 to 22.0 Beta 3.

septantesix,

At the top of the page that you hyperlinked was 22.0 beta 3, and below it were Firefox 1.0.3, 1.0.2, 1.0.1, and 1.0. All versions that shouldn't be recommended in a support answer in this forum; not withstanding the linking of non-Mozilla download websites is frowned upon in this forum. Every version of Firefox ever released is still available from Mozilla - we will send the user to the appropriate download location per each users needs. In this case, the support helper's felt the use of a Firefox Portable version was the correct action

Plus sending a user to a French-language version of a website isn't really appropriate in an English language forum such as this.

Download it from here

(Don't download old versions of Firefox)

Rather than use Firefox 1.5, if Firefox portable doesn't work for you, you should use another, more modern browser.
