How do I set the location of the Firefox opening window on my screen?
The window almost always opens in a small format in the upper right hand corner of my screen. It is a waste of effort to have to move it all of the time. (Occasionally, it opens the way that I like, but every time that it begins to do so, something requires that I close down Firefox and it moves back the the upper right corner of the screen in a small format. I'm hoping there is a simple way to reset the opening location and size of the opening window. Thanks. Larry Coons 6//29/13

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you.
You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)
Thanks very much.

I received separate instructions to reboot and that solved the problem.
Thanks for getting back to me.
