Using PgDn key on eBay browsing screens results in a 2-step jerky display to move from one screenful to another - this problem is not apparent on other websites
This problem has been apparent for some time in Firefox and has not been fixed in version 22. The scrolling using PgDn key works smoothly in Internet Explorer.

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Also try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
- Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
- In the Firefox options window click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
- In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
- Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately neither of these suggestions have made any difference.
The reset Firefox option merely removed the add-ons, destroyed my preferences, and undid the browser immunisations provided by SpyBot. I have since reinstated my original set-up within Firefox.
Unchecking the Hardware Acceleration tickbox in the Advanced Settings for Firefox has also made no visible difference. I cleaned out the cache before restarting but to no avail.
This problem of 'jerky' scrolling on the eBay site has been present for the last couple of updates to Firefox. Using either the keyboard for PgUp/PgDn movement, or simply using the scrollbar with a mouse, both show the 2-stage clunky movement of the screen which take about a second to perform the 2 operations which are clearly visible. With the current version 22 of Firefox I have had to install the 'No-Squint' add-on as not only was the display too large, but the scrolling movements were shifting by 2 screenfuls at a time instead of 1.
No other site, including similar auction sites, has this problem in Firefox. It is unique to the eBay site. However, the eBay site works as expected using Internet Explorer, so that I have to use that for eBay as Firefox is slow and clunky on that site.
You can try to write feedback here , a developer can possibly see it.
