my firefox browser open always on http://ultimate-search.net/

I've tried to delete the browser. startup.home but when i open again the browser the variable is set again

Could you explain me where firefox takes the information to recover the startup page each time to restart?

It is a typical browser hijacker which will redirect you to other unwanted website and modify your browser settings. You need to remove it with Windows Add/Remove programs, clean up the add-ons on Firefox and then delete the malicious registry entries of this virus.
