Why does Adobe keep crashing for no reason on the newer versions of Firefox?

I tried updating the flash player after updating to the newest version on Firefox and it still doesn't work. That flash player problem needs to get fixed. This is so annoying! It does that on versions higher than Firefox 13.

I also have the hardware acceleration turned off.

I updated to Firefox 24 I have reinstalled flash 11 multiple times. It continually crashes. This only happens on Firefox. I really hate IE and Chrome, but I am being forced to use them instead. Please fix this issue.

Which steps did you take for the crashes with the Flash plugin?

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

I tried the 2nd one. It still keeps crashing. It's been happening since like the beginning of Firefox 14 like over a year ago. I hope they get to fix the adobe flash problem on the next Firefox update.
