Loaded FF on laptop (Win 8), why is there no way to interact with it?

FF loaded onto my new laptop, using Windows , does not have a tool bar to allow me to interact with it. What can I do about this problem?

FF loaded onto my new laptop, using Windows , does not have a tool bar to allow me to interact with it. What can I do about this problem?

Chosen solution

Is it regular Windows 8, not RT?

If you don't see any of the regular bars (e.g., tab bar, toolbar, bookmarks toolbar), your Firefox might be in full screen mode. The F11 function key switches between regular and full screen views.

If you have a tab bar, you can right-click a blank area of it or click the new tab (+) button and enable missing toolbars from the menu that pops up.

Any luck?
