When I go to a game at pogo.com and "play", the game will not start up. Usually the games pops up in another window. It works under Explore; but not Mozilla Firefox, which is preferred internet connection. Help! I have withdrawals from not being to able games. I t won't work no matter what I try -- even following your directions.

Where is my answer?

Hi LindaMcD,

Is there an error message associated with this? Is there also more details you can provide? Sometimes the website also sets standards on what it wants to do when you use a specific browser on their website.

Did you look at the location bar to see if Firefox isn't blocking the Java plugin?

Current Firefox versions block the Java plugin by default and it needs to be activated via a possibly blue plugin icon on the left end of the location bar.

I too have this problem but in my case the pop up window comes up the correct size but the graphics inside the window fill only 3/4 of the area. I went to the forum on Pogo and they said it was Firefox so I used Chrome to play the game and the pop up window came up perfectly. This would seem to mean that the problem is somewhere in Firefox. I can't imagine how we could change a setting in Firefox to change the inside of a pop up window. All my other programs and setting are current. There are no error messages because Pogo sees the game play area as loading properly. Any ideas, anyone???? I have no problems with any other website as of this posting.

Select to allow pop-ups from that sight. Firefox Options > Content. Block Pop-Ups option is at the top of the screen. To the far right press the Exemptions button. If you are using an add-on to block pop-ups, do the same with the add-ons options.

I am getting pop ups, it's what's inside the pop up that is incorrect. I have to apologize to a previous comment. I went back and checked Chrome and Pogo does display properly in Chrome, it's just in Firefox that the game play area, inside the pop up is only 3/4 of the size it should be! Also I never mentioned that it does not affect game play, it's just that the graphics inside the box are smaller than they should be and are difficult to see.
