eBay messaging not working properly after recent FF 30 update
After the latest security release today for Firefox 30, eBay's messaging page has a problem when entering replies. When you start entering text in the reply field, every keystroke causes a return keystroke as well which creates space between the text your typing and the bottom of the reply window. Every keystroke enlarges the text window by one line. So by the time you are finished with the reply, there is so much space between the reply and the bottom of the window that you have to scroll to get to the bottom. For long replies with a couple hundred keystrokes, the window becomes huge. This same problem happens with any computer that has updated to the most recent Firefox 30. The computers I tried this on worked fine with the previous version then as soon as it was updated, the problem starts. Any ideas?

This is a known issue of eBay, see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Releases/29/Site_Compatibility#CSS
Disappointed this issue was not fixed at all with FF 30's release.
eryeal: This is an issue of the site so won't be fixed by future Firefox updates. Please ask eBay to get it fixed.
Perhaps someone can clarify - why isn't this problem in the latest versions of IE or Chrome, and only Firefox? It used to be a problem in IE, but a later IE update fixed it. That doesn't make sense to me why it's an Ebay problem, yet Firefox 29+ is the only browser that it doesn't work.
