I have to go to Safari to see Yahoo Comics. When I try in Firefox, after a 2-3 seconds, a bunch of ads and blue text overlays the top of the comics page. Adblock will take care of each image, and there's 5 or 6 I had to block. But the blue text stays, and when I click on an individual title on the right, new ads overlay that comic. Can you fix this? Thank you.

Please update to Firefox 30, Update Firefox to the latest release. After doing that, let me know if you still see ads

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good add / pop up blocker.
