When Firefox crashes (I've tried all the suggestions, even doubling my system memory) the box telling me that the Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working and asks me to close it, comes up twice as if two containers are running at the same time. Is this what is causing Firefox to crash? Conflict between two containers running? I am getting sick of Firefox crashing every time I open up a window or click on a link that requires the use of Flash or the sort.

If you haven't already, try disabling the protected mode feature added in Flash 11.3. It has security benefits, but is not compatible with all systems for some reason.

You can do that by creating or editing a settings file. The following pages/posts provide different approaches:

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (exiting and starting Firefox up again might help) before this takes effect.
