So, it started today for some reason, i didn't change anything from the last time i used it, nothing updated also.

I wrote this in the notepad because i can't use the "t" here it just opens a new tab as if i was using ctrl with it which obviously I'm not, and it's actually the only letter that is behaving like i am, none of the other ctrl+letter shortcut is doing it.

The capitalized "T" doesn't do it, only the small "t" and when i press it, it just open a new tab, doesn't even write the letter where i was writing.

I tested with the on-screen keyboard from Windows and it does the same thing without ctrl being activated, so it doesn't seem to be a keyboard problem since pressing ctrl on the real keyboard lights up the on-screen keyboard key as well and it isn't lit.

Hope you guys can help me.

P.S.: This only happens in Firefox, no other browser or any other program for that matter.

EDIT::: FIXED, check my comment at the end

Tried to press them individually and together, nothing.

But, if it was an incorrect state wouldn't pressing other keys also do something? Like pressing n would open a new window, c would copy etc etc.

I forgot to say i already tried closing and opening Firefox and restarting the computer.

What's really strange is the fact that it's just the uncapitalized t and that it's only on Firefox and in no other software, and it only started yesterday, i've been using Firefox pretty much since it exists and yesterday this happens for no apparent reason...

EDIT::: OK.......... i don't even want to believe this, i found the problem, it was on a tab management addon, i didn't think about it before because it made no sense, and it still doesn't...

The other day i disabled all the hotkeys on that addon (it was the day before i notice the problem and during that day i didn't notice any problems, that's why i didn't associate) because i didn't use them and didn't want to accidentally do anything, but apparently the brain of the guy that did the addon works in a way i can't understand.... instead of disabling the hotkeys when you click disable, they just change to something else (although visually, when you do it, you just see the hotkey disappear, so you assume now it doesn't have one), and the new tab probably got changed to "t"..... like wtf man.

I re-enabled the hotkeys in it now (because i was just trying anything possible that had to do with hotkeys in my firefox), and the t works fine again.

Sorry for wasting you time. BTW the addon is AllTabs, in case someone else has this problem :)

It is possible that some of the status keys have the wrong state and Firefox sees them as still pressed.

Try to press all the status keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) a few times to see if that helps to recover from this. If it doesn't help then close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer.
