I no longer get emails on Mozilla Thunderbird.... I was getting a bunch of SPAM that I started to block, using the recommended procedure from you.
I have been receiving a ton of SPAM, that I started to block....trying the procedures you outlined. 2-3 days ago I stopped receiving ANY emails from my Mozilla account:

I still get emails on my Droid cell phone, but not on my home computer.

The only suggestion is to undo whatever it is you did. Since this is the first post with this username and you give no hint of what you did there is to way to suggest anything else.
