I realize there is no option for bypassing the save to download, but I think it is time you put one in.

If one is downloading one or two programs, saving then running is not that big a deal - but when you are trying to download and run 1600 game files, it becomes totally ridiculous. instead of 2 clicks each one takes 4 or 5 - not counting all the time wasted going back and deleting everything. Kindly give us the choice of whether to save or run a download the same as Internet Explorer does. Like others, I don't want to save every thing I download either. When I do I click on save.

Right now I am trying to re-install all my games on my Florida PC that crashed. It is a pain to begin with, this constand need to save first then run just adds to the aggravation. If I could get IE to run properly on the game site, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Look around for a download add-on which has the features you want.
