Our network features an exchange 2007 server which our retail and head office employees currently connect to via Outlook, OWA, or their mobile phones(iOS,Android).

I have set up IMAP on our server in order to configure accounts for Thunderbird clients which has been successful. Ideally we would like a method of holding a file centrally on one of our main servers(or on each retail branch server) which could automatically configure the client once Thunderbird has been installed by GPO.

An idea I had was to hold the profile for each location on their own server and use profile manager to set each computer to use the same files. The problem however is that only one user can access this at a time.
