Hello

I'm curious to find out if there have been any new developments from Adobe/or Mozilla regarding the Adobe Flash player that had some security issues. The story was all over the media a few weeks back. As of now, I do have the latest updates installed of both Firefox and Adobe Flash player. Have these security issues been mended yet or is it still a work in progress?

Thanks -Jordan

If you are on the latest version of Firefox (Fx 39.0.3) and Flash (18.0.0.209) all ought to be ok. (Note Firefox will be updating to Fx 40 within days)

Software often has security issues. It is a constant cycle of adding features and fixing problems. Flashplayer is getting past its use by date. It often has security issues, that are not always immediately fixed.

Firefox is not immune to problems. One of the reasons for adding a pdf functionality was so users did not need to use Adobe's PDF software, but that just recently caused an issue in Firefox.
