I've downloaded Firefox and used it. I did not see an option to have an icon on my desktop to open it when I needed it. I turned my computer off, and when I turned it back on I can't find Firefox. I don't see it in my Applications, or anywhere else. How can I find it and install an icon to open it when I need it? Thanks.

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.

Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
