From the Menu Bar select File-New-Existing Mail Account

No Menu Bar? Press the alt key.

The spammers will probably add that address too since you posted it in a public forum. I would be more careful will your personal info.

If the auto wizard did not work get the server settings from your provider and use the manual process.

I Have tried that also and it won't take the information. Is says the information is invalid, and I know it is correct!

This is the support forum. There is no staffed help desk when you decide to use free software. Your provider sets up their servers. Ask them for the correct settings to use in Thunderbird.
