Using CClearner I fine that it now takes hours to clean out/delete files. Use to be 10/15 minutes. If I don't use firefox, and use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer ver. 11, no problem with CCleaner. But than next time I use FireFox again, I'm back to hours to clean out these files. And only use FireFox once. Its like Microsoft is trying to tell me something.

You should not use other programs on Firefox files. It may end up removing the wrong files.

Firefox can clean itself during a shutdown.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.

The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Cache and Form And Search History and whatever else you want..

CCleaner is notorious for causing problems with Firefox, so it's not a "stretch" to learn that it gets bogged down trying to "clean up" after Firefox. Clearly the CCleaner developers don't understand the internal workings or Firefox and the file systems used in Firefox, or they didn't keep up with changes that Mozilla has made to Firefox over the years.

As FredMcD alluded to, disable the CCleaner feature for Firefox in CCleaner preferences and use what is built into Firefox.
