I lost all of my old bookmarks when fiefox was updated, where do I find them
When firefox was updated I lost my old bookmark list, is it a sync issue, I have gone through all the bookmark , bm side bar, etc. I spent years accumulating valuable bookmarks, where are they. if it is a sync thing, I have no idea what the password is. Or what email you use, can i go back to the old version, it worked fine. this new update is hard to navigate.

Uh-oh, you shouldn't lose your bookmarks.
As a starting point, can you restore these controls that you may have been using before:
(1) Bookmarks Menu button on the toolbar (2) Bookmarks Toolbar below the main toolbar
Toolbar Button
There is a "real" bookmarks menu button for the toolbar. You can add it from Customize, or use the "Library" button as described in the article linked below:
- Bookmarks in Firefox - section entitled: How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?
Bookmarks Toolbar
To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:
- right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
- (menu bar) View > Toolbars
On Windows, tap the Alt key to activate the menu bar temporarily. - in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.
If you need to restore bookmarks from backup, check this article: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer. Does that work?
If no backups are available, we'll ask you to check whether your Firefox bookmarks might be in an unexpected location, such as on your desktop in a folder named Old Firefox Data (created by a Refresh).
