Recently I tried to bookmark all open tabs but it seems to create a new folder and put the links in it. Is it not possible to bookmark all tabs into already existing folder?

I think that that is how bookmark all tabs works. When you use that feature then a new folder is created to store all tabs. You can have to organize the bookmarks yourself.
