Have 2 version. Want to delete one and move info from deleted to new
I am running with ubuntu 18.04.2 I was having a problem with the snap version of firefox so I downloaded, and installed the non-snap version of firefox. Now I want to delete the snap version and use the other. My problem is that all my stuff is in the snap version. My thought is to save the profile of the snap version and then use that profile for the non snap version, delete both versions and reinstall the version I want to use. before I start, however, I thought I would ask whether that would work.
Thank you........

Hi
I am a Ubuntu user myself (Xubuntu 18.04) so hopefully I can help (I have moved linux distro and Firefox version a few times myself).
What you are suggestion should work fine. This article will help you to find your profile folder and this article will help you to move it.
Really important - make sure that Firefox is closed before you move or copy your profile folder.
