Most of the time my Thunderbird works without any problem. There are two (at least) ISP:s where I can't send messages - see uploaded image. However, I do have a bypass: 1/ connect my iPhone to the current ISP 2/ enable "internet sharing" 3/ disconnect my PC from the ISP 4/ connect my PC to my iPhone

... and now I can send my messages without problems

Please help me - Pete

First, as the error message suggests, verify your smtp settings. They should be mailout.telia.com on port 465, SSL/TLS security, authentication = normal password, User name = email address. Do you use a VPN or have a security program scanning outgoing mail or SSL connections?
